mattsshwaryn
I have a gui button menu that I use at work using autoit that replaces explorer on startup. In Windows 10 there is no wallpaper without explorer so I want to make the gui fullscreen which I'm able to do but how do I center vertically and horizontally my gui content such as buttons and labels. I also want to be able to add computer info in the bottom right corner which I know how to get the info but not how to place in the bottom right corner. Appreciate any help. Thanks! spudw2k
Sounds like some basic geometry is what you need. How does one find the center of an object? Measure the sides/dimensions and find the mid-points (very easy for a rectangle/desktop). Solve for X & Y edit: Center point coordinate [X,Y] = [(Shape W/2)+Shape X , (Shape H/2)+Shape Y] Edited October 10, 2016 by spudw2k FMS 1 Spoiler Things I've Made: Always On Top Tool ◊ AU History ◊ Deck of Cards ◊ HideIt ◊ ICU ◊ Icon Freezer ◊ Ipod Ejector ◊ Junos Configuration Explorer ◊ Link Downloader ◊ MD5 Folder Enumerator ◊ PassGen ◊ Ping Tool ◊ Quick NIC ◊ Read OCR ◊ RemoteIT ◊ SchTasksGui ◊ SpyCam ◊ System Scan Report Tool ◊ System UpTime ◊ Transparency Machine ◊ VMWare ESX Builder Misc Code Snippets: ADODB Example ◊ CheckHover ◊ Detect SafeMode ◊ DynEnumArray ◊ GetNetStatData ◊ HashArray ◊ IsBetweenDates ◊ Local Admins ◊ Make Choice ◊ Recursive File List ◊ Remove Sizebox Style ◊ Retrieve PNPDeviceID ◊ Retrieve SysListView32 Contents ◊ Set IE Homepage ◊ Tickle Expired Password ◊ Transpose Array Projects: Drive Space Usage GUI ◊ LEDkIT ◊ Plasma_kIt ◊ Scan Engine Builder ◊ SpeeDBurner ◊ SubnetCalc Cool Stuff: AutoItObject UDF ◊ Extract Icon From Proc ◊ GuiCtrlFontRotate ◊ Hex Edit Funcs ◊ Run binary ◊ Service_UDF
