Zelna
I guess I could say I'm new to autoit, up till now I have fixed all my issues on my own, but for this one I'm out of options, would appretiate any help please. It shows EndSelect is closing Func statement: Func example() Select Case $g = 0 For $h To 0 Step -1 ;do stuff Next $g = $g + 1 Case $g = 1 For $h To 0 Step -1 ;do stuff Next $g = $g + 1 Case $g = 2 For $h To 0 Step -1 ;do stuff Next $g = $g + 1 Case $g = 3 For $h To 0 Step -1 ;do stuff Next $g = 0 EndSelect EndFunc Thank you in advance, and as I said any help would be very much appretiated, even a link to some explanation of this problem. Zelna
but the $h value is supposed to change with some other function, if i set a value for it then the whole point of that for loop is useless, thank you, I thought it was possible to leave it undefined, then I will look for other ways to make autoit do what i want, thank you again (:
spudw2k
Then use another variable as the "counter" variable. InunoTaishou
Also, why use Select for this instance? It should be faster to use Switch $g Case 0 Case 1 Case 2 Case 3 EndSwitch
