About the hotkeys, Yes that was a typo. @JaySquared I keep it closed source for now, I might release it later on. storme
Hi colafrysen You may get a better response if you you move your program to a server that doesn't need to be subscribed to. I find it much simpler to attach the file to the message here. It is now fixed and you should be able to download the file without registration. The reason for not attaching the file directly to here is that i got no more attachment space. colafrysen
How did the Ping turn out? Also what OS do you run, you'll have to disable any firewall warnings that appears (If you are using Vista then make sure that server actually was installed and is running, this is done by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Win+Shift+A) Use the helpfile, It´s one of the best exlusive features of Autoit.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q555375ALIBI Run - a replacement for the windows run promptPC Controller - an application for controlling other PCsScience flies us to the moon. But I did not tell you to use ctrl alt del, I said "Ctrl+Alt+Win+Shift+A"2. they are both running windows vista, except that the normal one is using vista home premium and the other one vista home basicI've had problems with Vista before, but that was with pinging (Windows firewall blocked it (The ping request)), something that seemed to work for you3. i have disabled the firewall on the server, do i have to disable it on this machine too?I think that this is unnecessary, but if you got problems, then give it a try .3. the ping works with 1-3msWell no error at least.Other that this I can only think of one possible solution, check if you can connect at all using Hyperterminal (If that is still availiable on Vista) or Putty, with the local IP and port 65335. colafrysen
Well, You'll need to port-forward if you are on different LANs. colafrysen
btw this is how it looks likeOk, the only reason I can think of is that the server is not running on the remote computer, if a balloon pops up from the taskbar when pressing Ctrl+Alt+Shift+Win+A this means that the server is running, And as you find computers while clicking on Scan Network, I Assume that you are on the same LAN, thus not needing port-forwarding.
