hodgepodge
This will be a quick fix...I just need to figure out the screen coordinates for the Pixelsearch function. However, how do I find the coordinates? I am not looking for a way for the user to define the area of the search, the area is already programmed into the script. I figured I'd use the window info tool, yet that returns a Cartesian coordinate where the function calls for a single number... Im sure someone knows the answer, so...Thanks in advance edit: Oh, I think I may have the answer.... Say I am looking at the left side...I would just take the X coord....Right? Moderators Melba23 Posted June 15, 2009 Moderators Share Posted June 15, 2009 hodgepodge,The Info tool will give you coodinates in this form 984,561. These are horizontal (x) and vertical (y) coordinates. So you need to measure the top-left and bottom right of the rectangle, as shown here:x1,y1------------------------------------------- | | | | | | |--------------------------------------------x2,y2Then in PixelSearch you enter the coordinates thus:PixelSearch ( x1, y1, x2, y2, etc........)Does no--one do basic geometry anymore?M23 Tacomas 1 Any of my own code posted anywhere on the forum is available for use by others without any restriction of any kind Open spoiler to see my UDFs: Spoiler ArrayMultiColSort ---- Sort arrays on multiple columnsChooseFileFolder ---- Single and multiple selections from specified path treeview listingDate_Time_Convert -- Easily convert date/time formats, including the language usedExtMsgBox --------- A highly customisable replacement for MsgBoxGUIExtender -------- Extend and retract multiple sections within a GUIGUIFrame ---------- Subdivide GUIs into many adjustable framesGUIListViewEx ------- Insert, delete, move, drag, sort, edit and colour ListView itemsGUITreeViewEx ------ Check/clear parent and child checkboxes in a TreeViewMarquee ----------- Scrolling tickertape GUIsNoFocusLines ------- Remove the dotted focus lines from buttons, sliders, radios and checkboxesNotify ------------- Small notifications on the edge of the displayScrollbars ----------Automatically sized scrollbars with a single commandStringSize ---------- Automatically size controls to fit textToast -------------- Small GUIs which pop out of the notification area
