Here's an enhanced version of _FFWindowOpen that supports private browsing. FYI, I have not tested to see how this update may affect other functions. Let me know if you see any issues. ; #FUNCTION#

the addon requirement kills the very purpose of having this UDF, because it will not work for everyone but only those who have addon installed.

Doesnt firefox has API's like IE that would work without any additional addons ?

P.S.:

I cannot connect to Firefox at all, therefore FF.au3 does not work for me. I have a fresh install of Firefox, version 56.0.2 and MozRepl is installed and active (i've checked in the Add-ons menu). I cannot upgrade my AutoIt version as it breaks my scripts (there is some bug with _IE.au3).

More Details:

Technically that's not a bug, stylistically it's an oversight.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I'm forcing myself to use variable declarations, as it is extremely helpful in debugging.

Therefore i cannot run FF.au3 because i'm using this code in all of my scripts: 

Opt("MustDeclareVars", 1)

I understand your point of view and, as long as the default settings of Autoit are of concern, it's not a bug.

But, as long as FF.au3 is concerned, that is a bug because stylistically it is not the same with the rest of the declarations of the variables.

It's only a bug because you chose to have all variables declared in YOUR code, it's not a bug as far as FF.au3 because the author wrote the code without that option and it's perfectly acceptable in AutoIt3 to have variables implicitly declared by their scope.

There is no bug in FF.au3 with it not declared, it runs as intended.
