Stuempi Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 Hey, I got some problems with an if-instruction... RunWait("C:\Program Files\test.exe", "C:\Program Files\") If WinWaitActive("Test") Then WinClose("Test") Else RunWait("C:\Program Files\test.exe", "C:\Program Files\") Sleep(5000) If WinWaitActive("Test") Then WinClose("Test") Else MsgBox(64, "Success") EndIf EndIf MsgBox(64, "Success") Exit So after starting test.exe it can be that another window is opening... this should be closed before starting test.exe again (and if the window is again opening it should be closed again...)... that's it, but after the first test.exe the script hangs up... any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance!
Moderators Melba23 Posted April 20, 2009 Moderators Posted April 20, 2009 Stuempi,It is hanging because you are using WinWaitActive in your If line. As this command waits until the window "Test" is active - and you have just closed it - the script just sits there waiting.....Try changing the 2 instances of WinWaitActive into WinActive and see if that gives the result you want.M23 Any of my own code posted anywhere on the forum is available for use by others without any restriction of any kind Open spoiler to see my UDFs: Spoiler ArrayMultiColSort ---- Sort arrays on multiple columnsChooseFileFolder ---- Single and multiple selections from specified path treeview listingDate_Time_Convert -- Easily convert date/time formats, including the language usedExtMsgBox --------- A highly customisable replacement for MsgBoxGUIExtender -------- Extend and retract multiple sections within a GUIGUIFrame ---------- Subdivide GUIs into many adjustable framesGUIListViewEx ------- Insert, delete, move, drag, sort, edit and colour ListView itemsGUITreeViewEx ------ Check/clear parent and child checkboxes in a TreeViewMarquee ----------- Scrolling tickertape GUIsNoFocusLines ------- Remove the dotted focus lines from buttons, sliders, radios and checkboxesNotify ------------- Small notifications on the edge of the displayScrollbars ----------Automatically sized scrollbars with a single commandStringSize ---------- Automatically size controls to fit textToast -------------- Small GUIs which pop out of the notification area
