Hi,

I want to make a script which opens a GUI with two Input fields a Username and a Password.

And If the information is correct it needs to finish the script.

And if the information is incorrect then it needs to give an error.

Anyone knows how to do this??

$GUI = GUICreate("Login",210,80,-1,-1,0x16C80000,0x00000181)
$USERNAME = GUICtrlCreateInput("Type here username",5,5,200,20,0x01)
$PASSWORD = GUICtrlCreateInput("Password",5,30,200,20,0x21)
$LOGIN = GUICtrlCreateButton("Login",50,55,100,20)
GUISetState(@SW_SHOW,$GUI)

While 1
    $MSG = GUIGetMsg()
    If $MSG = $LOGIN Then
        If GUICtrlRead($USERNAME) == "Rawox" And GUICtrlRead($PASSWORD) == "AutoIt" Then
            MsgBox(0,"Login","You are logged in")
        Else
            MsgBox(0,"Login","Incorrect username or password.")

        Exit
    EndIf
    Sleep(20)
WEnd

Question about decompiling code? Read the decompiling FAQ and don't bother posting the question in the forums.

Be sure to read and follow the forum rules. -AKA the AutoIt Reading and Comprehension Skills test.***

The PCRE (Regular Expression) ToolKit for AutoIT - (Updated Oct 20, 2011 ver:3.0.1.13) - Please update your current version before filing any bug reports. The installer now includes both 32 and 64 bit versions. No change in version number.

DiYa,

What about the code do you find difficult to understand?

Thanks! My task is to validate username and password of a desktop application. If username and password are incorrect it should return a message that credentials are wrong. Can you please give me code for this task?

DiYa,

Firstly: Please stop posting the same question all over the forum - one thread per question is quite sufficient and you at least have an answer in this one.

Secondly: This forum does not write code for you - we help you get your code working correctly. So you have 2 choices: either start learning about coding in AutoIt so that the multiple threads on the forum become understandable (and the one is as simple as they come) - or go and post on a site where coding is available for a price.

I rather hope you choose the former - if you do then reading the Help file (at least the first few sections - Using AutoIt, Tutorials and the first couple of References) will help you enormously.  You should also look at this excellent tutorial and download the really useful book you can find at
