Moderators Melba23 Posted January 30, 2009 Moderators Share Posted January 30, 2009 monte,You do not need the Opt("TrayOnEventMode",1). That puts the tray menu into OnEvent mode and you want GetMsg mode!I would also remove the Sleep from your While...Wend loop. The GetMsg functions put in their own pauses and you are just making the whole thing unresponsive.M23 Any of my own code posted anywhere on the forum is available for use by others without any restriction of any kind Open spoiler to see my UDFs: Spoiler ArrayMultiColSort ---- Sort arrays on multiple columnsChooseFileFolder ---- Single and multiple selections from specified path treeview listingDate_Time_Convert -- Easily convert date/time formats, including the language usedExtMsgBox --------- A highly customisable replacement for MsgBoxGUIExtender -------- Extend and retract multiple sections within a GUIGUIFrame ---------- Subdivide GUIs into many adjustable framesGUIListViewEx ------- Insert, delete, move, drag, sort, edit and colour ListView itemsGUITreeViewEx ------ Check/clear parent and child checkboxes in a TreeViewMarquee ----------- Scrolling tickertape GUIsNoFocusLines ------- Remove the dotted focus lines from buttons, sliders, radios and checkboxesNotify ------------- Small notifications on the edge of the displayScrollbars ----------Automatically sized scrollbars with a single commandStringSize ---------- Automatically size controls to fit textToast -------------- Small GUIs which pop out of the notification area

amin84
Hello, How can I use TrayGetMsg with GUIGetMsg? BrewManNH
You set the option for TrayOnEventMode, you can't use the message loop if you do that. Just delete that option line and see if it's working now. amin84 1 If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. gaap_nl
Hi, Sorry to bump this tread but i was wondering if there is a way so that the traymenu does not exit when closing the gui? #include <GUIConstants.au3> Opt('TrayMenuMode',3) Opt('TrayAutoPause',0) $gui = GUICreate("My GUI") $Button1 = GUICtrlCreateButton("Button1", 8, 8, 75, 25) $showgui = TrayCreateItem("Show") $hidegui = TrayCreateItem("Hide") $exitItem = TrayCreateItem("Exit") TraySetState() GUISetState (@SW_HIDE, $gui) While 1 $tMsg = TrayGetMsg() Switch $tMsg Case $showgui GUISetState(@SW_SHOW, $gui) Case $hidegui GUISetState(@SW_HIDE, $gui) Case $exitItem Exit EndSwitch $nMsg = GUIGetMsg() Switch $nMsg Case $Button1 ConsoleWrite('ok pressed'&@LF) Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Exitloop EndSwitch Wend Thanks. Nine
Instead of ExitLoop, replace that line with GuiDelete (). But then show/hide won't work anymore, you may want to remove those options after deleting the GUI. Or you could hide the GUI instead of deleting it on Close...
