tarre Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Hi i got some math problems here. To calculate the radians of X and Y. Player x Cordinate = -4233 Player y Cordinate = -587.2 Target x Cordinate = -6243 Target y Cordinate = -684.1 i want to get my targets Rot cordinate by using my targets X and Y cordinate. i know (from wikipedia) that Atan is the function i need. but i dunno how anyone got any good examples?

I think that exists a function to calculate the radians. Search on help file about _Radian().
monoceres Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 I think that exists a function to calculate the radians. Search on help file about _Radian().He doesn't want to convert degrees->radians, he wants to learn how the Tan function works.@tarreNot sure what you mean, but is this the angle you want? Broken link? PM me and I'll send you the file!
