Note:

If there is an update after this one, you dont have to download the installer again.. it'll update automatic.. :)

White Eagle Media Player

Abilty to:

^Play music and create playlists!!

^It supports 3 languages: English, Dutch and French it chooses the correct language by looking at your @OSLang..

^You can still select a custom language in the settings gui

^Increase or Decrease speed

^have as many playlists as you want!

^Stream radio

^Notification if disc has songs on it. You can rip 'em to your playlist (computer) from the disc if you like..

^Hover function

^Path is in hidden column

^Get song lyrics

^Load Dj List, Clear Dj List, Set Main Dj List and add songs to your main Dj list!*

^Run White Dragon Dj Edition (wich can mix 2 songs and do more!!)

^Download a song packet

^Vista sort of skin (on xp or vista..)

^Cool installer made in pure autoit

^Xtreme visualizations! (Made by Monoceres)

Fixed a lot of bugs..

Please download the old version and then run it.. After that you should get a message with:

Do you want to download update.. then press yes.. And you'll have the newest version (2.9.0.0)

and as I said: I AM NOT RELEASING SOURCE (yet)

New things after latest updates:

-icons and buttons change when you hover the mouse over them

-when you click info, you are able to change the title, artist or album name of your song..

-the simple option at the setting 'notice when a new song starts' is new because when a new song starts a voice tells you what the song title and artist is.

-when running the program twice the second one will just acitvate the first programs window and then exit..

-I added a new button at the tray menu, check it out!

-I fixed a bug when clicking previous it would go back but not select the correct song and not change the msn name, fixt that..

-Its now possible to chose the size of the playlist, (normal or large).

-Possibility to stream radio

-some bugs fixed

-if a disc is inserted in your computer, the program looks if there are music files on it. If there are music files on the disc it will ask you: Do you want to rip them to your playlist and if you click 'yes' it will rip the songs to the directory you gave up and will add them to your playlist!..

-gui has rounded edges..

-if you use to save settings since the last update (2.9.0.0) and restart the program. An error would come up, I fixt this..

-Updated the stream radio inputbox to a gui, check it ou!

-fixt some other small bugs

-Ability to have as many playlists as you want!

-fixt bugs

-the paths are now in a secret column

-the items are coloured different

-added possibility for me to debug

-added custom error control

-got rid of minimized button.. (why would you need one if you can just click on >)

-fixed the bug when you clicked prev (it wouldn't work and error)

-added option to add a file to one of your playlists (menu > menuitem(s))

*=Click Right Mousebutton on a song and then go to add > Dj List > Dj List. Enter start time and end time and click ok.. Click dj list then click load and see what happens!

Honestly, I don't like it.

The GUI made my eyes bleed. The migraine I already had got worse.

The "Add File" simply doesn't work. When I choose a file it simply doesn't load.

If I add a directory, it works, but it freezes up if any files other than those supported are in the directory (I tried loading an album I had, which contained an M3U playlist file to organize it. That's where it froze. At least the music plays)

Positives: I like the idea to be able to snap it to a toolbar, but I didn't see a way to drag the toolbar. Could that be added?

Definitely not the best media player (That would either go to L|m|ter or DBak IMO) but it has potential with a GUI overhaul. That's what made me shy away. I really don't believe this is over 1600 lines of code either (Unless you are counting the include files)

Not too functional I see...and the looks....well, aren't that good but it's ok for a start. And why would it try to connect to the internet?

^with the include files it's 13536 lines long muttley

edit: you shouldn't leave registry entries behind or have an option to remove them.

yeh the gui's not to nice..

I agree..

and I know the add file doesn't work..

It tries to connect to the internet to search for updates muttley

I really don't believe this is over 1600 lines of code either

It are exactly 1667 lines of code..

Huh.. Weird that you can upload it and I couldn't..

I'm sorry about that error on Hostfile.org.. I was sleeping then (it was like 1 at night when I made this topic)

and the download works now..

Still I think it's pretty strange that only 1 person said a tiny little positive thing..

Does nobody like the search function?

It works better than limiter's

And what about the skins?

is it just ugly and did I waste my time on making it? Or do you not know were to find them? (extra > settings)

Have you seen the speed slider?

That's pretty funny, dont you think? Probaly not..

It has shuffle next, next and previous song buttons.. (wich work muttley )

Lmp only has shuffle next and thats it..

Why don't you also try to be a little more positive..

Does somebody know why:

when I include Hover.au3 (the udf) and then GUICtrlSetOnHover with the buttons

My gui acts really strange? (like it doesn't show the title and artist)

Well... That's not a big problem.

The GUI is not quite good looking, the search isn't working properly, the splash is not working, the artist,title,album things are messed up on Vista (that's because ExtProp was created for xp and on vista things are a bit different), the end !

Thats strange.. I'll look at it..

And Ill change the Exprop stuff..

and on my computer the search function works just fine!

You may think that my gui looks afwul, It does have more fantasy then your gui..

At same as in LIMITER player, we cant do anything before little window in right down corner. You player is always playing first 2 seconds of song on 100% volume (this can be a big problem when someone is listening music in night on 2-10% volume). When you are starting new song the progress slider is still in previous pleace.Play and Pause buttons are working in the same way, better do ONLY ONE button and change text dispayed on it. You should ad a extra row to playlist with numbers of songs in yours playlist, it helps a lot when you have 500+ songs in it. Amount of song in playlist should be dispayed constantly, not only on user wish in menu. BUT !! Keep working and I belive that your player will be something greate ! muttley

Well... It's a good start, no doubt, but it needs some tinkering work muttley

You may want to make the gui a little transparent or use a bmp,jpg,png background :)

Yeh I'm working on it.

already fixed the vista Extprop bug

and it was pretty stupid that it only supported .mp3

now it supports: .mp3, .wma, .wav, .cda

The add file is fixed but doesn't work great yet..

and I did not upload the new version yet

You player is always playing first 2 seconds of song on 100% volume (this can be a big problem when someone is listening music in night on 2-10% volume).

Updated..

Fixed a lot of bugs:

Add file works

Add dir works

Vista Exprop is fixt

and a new setting ability is added..

and some more small stuff is fixed..

How to get the newest version:
