ControlGetText has a return of void, so how do I get the text? I tried changing it to return string, but am not sure what to put for the last 2 parameters. Any assistance would be appreciated. Documentation for each function is not provided as the function calls are similar to the COM version and it should be easy to work out what is required with the COM documentation and the header file. The main difference to the COM version is that the functions that receive text - such as AU3_WinGetTitle have an additional parameter called nBufSize - this should be set to the available size of the output text buffer. e.g. The prototype for AU3_WinGetText is: void AU3_WinGetTitle(LPCWSTR szTitle, LPCWSTR szText, LPWSTR szRetText, int nBufSize); The return buffer is szRetText, and an example (C++ language) usage would be: WCHAR szMyTitle[200]; AU3_WinGetTitle("Untitled - Notepad", "", szMyTitle, 200); MessageBox(NULL, szMyTitle, "Returned window title was:", MB_OK); nBufSize is simply used to avoid buffer overruns in any text that is passed back. AU3_BlockInput (just testing that does it work in overall) and im cant get this working. I call it in a method like this: AutoItX.AU3_BlockInput(2); I'm using visual studio 2013 and mainly i'm using autoit to move mouse with the basic library (which works) but i would need to read register keys and other advanced stuff also. I'm building automated web tests that uses selenium and autoit. (Note that i use MSTEST) I'm getting this kind of console prompt: " Test Name: X_Y Test Outcome: Failed Result Message: Assert.IsFalse failed. One of the tests failed Result StandardOutput: Class Setup Testing with browsers -> chrome | Testing with environments -> XEnvironment SUCCESS -> maximizeWindow FAILURE EXCEPTION -> Environment address -> XEnvironment with CHROME System.EntryPointNotFoundException: Unable to find an entry point named 'AU3_BlockInput' in DLL 'AutoItX3.dll'. at Test.AutoItX.AU3_BlockInput(Int32 Flag) at Test.AutoItX.BlockInput(Int32 flag) in Reporting.cs:line XXX at Test.X.Y() in Test.cs:line YYY ClassCleanUp " Issue is as you see => System.EntryPointNotFoundException: Unable to find an entry point named 'AU3_BlockInput' in DLL 'AutoItX3.dll' So what could be the problem here. I sent the AutoItX3.dll file to the folder where my test.cs file exists. Before that i got error of missing dll.
