Hey, I havn't really tested it out, but:

1) LOVE THE SPLASH!!!

You can just set the global updater.exe to hidden, and the .ini file, and then use:

ShellExecute(@ScriptDir&"\Global Updater.exe", "-silent")

Nice utility, but it doesn't save the MS Windows Locked files.

Maybe with vshadow from Microsoft, it would be more interesting (If you want informations on it, I make a basic script to use it in plan to make a backup utility, but I haven't time to finish it )

If you don't select "continue copying if error occures" the copying will stop on 1st error, but you are not informed of the error !

I think that a red icon and a error message must be generated.

A context menu on the systray icon, to launch the copy directly or edit it can olso be a good idea.

With MS Windows Locked files what do you mean? Which folder(s) or file(s) are u refering to?

C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\NTUSER.DAT

But there is many other files on a computer that you can't copy like this.

Some applications lock files because of data transfert, so the application must be closed to save the files.

Are u using Vista? If so...i can tell u that it wasn`t tested with Vista....The app uses the xcopy.exe to synchronize the files...i don`t know if vista has it...and if it works the same....

No I use Windows XP.

But it's not the "fault" of xcopy it's just a limitation of Windows that lock files in use...
