AJ6594 Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 Opt("WinTitleMatchMode", 2) $abc = WinList("Window","") For $i = 1 to $table[0][0] $xyz = $abc[$i][0] WinActivate($xyz,"") $k = WinActive($xyz,"") ;------------------------------------------------ If $k =1 Then MsgBox(0,"yes","activated",2) EndIf If $k = 0 Then MsgBox(0,$xyz,"son of a bitch",4) EndIf Next This doesnt always work. Sometimes I get "MsgBox(0,$xyz,"son of a bitch",4)" meaning WinActivate($xyz,"") didnt work. WTF ??
GEOSoft Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 (edited) For $i = 1 to $table[0][0] $xyz = $abc[$i][0] WinActivate($xyz,"") $k = WinActive($xyz,"") WinWaitActive($xyz,"") ;------------------------------------------------ If $k =1 Then MsgBox(0,"yes","activated",2) EndIf If $k = 0 Then MsgBox(0,$xyz,"son of a bitch",4) EndIf Next Edit: You could also do it this way For $i = 1 to $table[0][0] $xyz = $abc[$i][0] WinActivate($xyz,"") $k = WinActive($xyz,"") Do Sleep(100) Until WinActive($xyz,"") ;------------------------------------------------ If $k =1 Then MsgBox(0,"yes","activated",2) EndIf If $k = 0 Then MsgBox(0,$xyz,"son of a bitch",4) EndIf Next Edited March 22, 2008 by GEOSoft George Question about decompiling code? GEOSoft Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 it still doesnt work. more suggestions pleaseThats because of where you are checking $k = WinActive($xyz,"") In my first code change WinWaitActive($xyz,"") to $k= WinWaitActive($xyz,"", 3) ;; 3 is a timeout for waiting (3 seconds) you can adjust that. ;; If it times out then $k will return 0 Don't forget to comment out your existing $k = WinActive($xyz,"") George Question about decompiling code?
