partially inedible Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 Is there a way to copy whatever is in the clipboard byte-for-byte into a string variable (or vice versa)? Any help would be appreciated Thanks

partially inedible Posted March 21, 2008 Author Posted March 21, 2008 For example, if a picture is copied to the clipboard and it is in some special unrecognized format, is there a way to read the data from the clipboard byte-for-byte without interpreting the data or classifying it as a particular format (what I mean by "raw read")? As I see in the help file, _ClipBoard_GetData has you specify the intended format of the item that is in the clipboard, but I was looking for a way to read the clipboard data raw.
