Captures tools are very handy.

For those who doesn't have a graphic editor, you could propose to open image in Microsoft Picture previewer.

A preview before upload would be great, and what about upload externals images ?

Anyway, i can add a support for the «rundll32.exe shimgvw.dll,ImageView_Fullscreen %1» string. In the sources we should replace this:

and then we can set the full line for the image viewer (rundll32.exe shimgvw.dll,ImageView_Fullscreen), or just part of it (ImageView_Fullscreen), or, we also can leave the editor field blank, it will execute the image with the default editor (for that image file).

quite the comprehensive screen-cap utility

for me, on win 7 with v1.0.5, the option to place the image on the clipboard does not work, which is interesting because i can't get it to work in a similar utility that i'm working on either

i also happened to notice this - maybe you intended to use _ClipBoard_SetDataEx? ...

UPDATE: i think you have to use _ClipBoard_SetDataEx - i just switched it out in my script and now it works

for my screen region capture, i prefer a simple click and drag method to select the region rather than having to move/resize a box - if you are interested in this, let me know an i'll post a code sample if you want

I would like to suggest you could implement an customization on the option 'selected area', user can manipulate the coordinates (x,y) for catch the right measures of selected area.

Today, I use the function WinMove() for doing this to me.

Why CaptureIt.exe can upload images normally, but CaptureIt.au3 cannot ([Upload Internal ERROR]).
