martin Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 I am developing a small app that can be simply restored and minimized to tray, thus the maximize window button in the title is completely unmanaged. Can it be hidden? If you create a window, or set a windows style, to have no minize or maximize icons then neither will be shown, but if you have just one then the other is shown disabled ASAIK. MrCreatoR Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 Hi, You can hide, but then the minimize button will be hidden as well: #include <GuiConstants.au3> $Gui = GuiCreate("Test", -1, -1, -1, -1, $WS_SYSMENU) GUISetState() While 1 $Msg = GUIGetMsg() Switch $Msg Case -3 Exit EndSwitch WEnd I to would like to know a way to leave only Minimize and Close buttons (without creating them manualy). Richard Robertson Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 It just isn't part of the Windows API to hide one but not both of the min/max buttons.
BrettF Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 Would disabling it do the job? I pretty sure you can disable it. I don't know how though. MCP Posted September 17, 2007 Author Posted September 17, 2007 Thank you all folks! Tonight I am gonna check both the solutions.
Paulie Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 you can remove it in koda, go to the styles tabInteresting theme there... I smell HL2
Richard Robertson Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 You can't hide the maximize button while the minimize button is still visible. You can easily disable it by using certain GUI styles.
