Developers Jos Posted April 27, 2011 Author Developers Share Posted April 27, 2011 is this a standard install to default locations of both the AutoIt3 installer and SciTE4AutoIt3 installer? bogQ
Yes, it was default instalation on E: partition (system partition)The include part was#include <Timers.au3>#Include <Misc.au3>#Include <Array.au3>#include "..\au3Irrlicht2.au3"#include <Sound.au3>#Include <WinAPI.au3>I dono if is was because of "..\au3Irrlicht2.au3" (on the end i change that udf because someone addad #include "au3Irr2_constants.au3" on every part of sub UDF and Obf. go crazy on reporting duplicated Var) so that Obf. confused along the way.At the moment to b on the safe side im using #include <E:\Program Files\AutoIt3\Include\Sound.au3> with no problems, i was getting the error (and i did try abut 10 times to reinstall it all) only after second try after Dllcallback-execute-duplicated var error on first try. If i reinstalled autoit and full scite and correct all the errors before running Obf. first time after reinstall, i don`t get any error for 'include file not found' and all is working correctly. My problem at the moment is solved (probably my comp needed restart or something else after installing full scite for the first time) and i can`t replicate problem now after the 3 days, i still have identical code rared and i can send you the script to PM if you need but i don`t think it`l make difference at the moment. :/ TCP server and client - Learning about TCP servers and clients connectionAu3 oIrrlicht - Irrlicht projectAu3impact - Another 3D DLL game engine for autoit. Ascend4nt
While it seems the latest version of obfuscator has solved most of my function name problems when used in OnAutoItExit*,Adlib*,HotKeySet, & DLLCallbackRegister strings, I have found one issue: When #obfuscator_off is used, followed by a function name, then #obfuscator_on, as in the below excerpt, Obfuscator still somehow internally obfuscates the name for OnAutoItExitRegister/OnAutoItExitUnregister, AdlibRegister/UnRegister, HotKeySet and DLLCallbackRegister() functions. #obfuscator_off Func MyFunc() #obfuscator_on In essence, you'll wind up with something like OnAutoItExitRegister("_3_") and an error while compiling: ERROR: _3_(): undefined function Is it possible to fix this? I see the latest beta using the above technique in the <Debug.au3> standard Include, and thought it was a good enough solution for times when a variable is used to pass a function name. But it'd be nice to have the functions that use string literals to work as well. Thanks! *edit: also, this thread should get sticky status by now Edited May 30, 2011 by Ascend4nt My contributions: Performance Counters in Windows - Measure CPU, Disk, Network etc Performance | Network Interface Info, Statistics, and Traffic | CPU Multi-Processor Usage w/o Performance Counters | Disk and Device Read/Write Statistics | Atom Table Functions | Process, Thread, & DLL Functions UDFs | Process CPU Usage Trackers | PE File Overlay Extraction | A3X Script Extract | File + Process Imports/Exports Information | Windows Desktop Dimmer Shade | Spotlight + Focus GUI - Highlight and Dim for Eyestrain Relief | CrossHairs (FullScreen) | Rubber-Band Boxes using GUI's (_GUIBox) | GUI Fun! | IE Embedded Control Versioning (use IE9+ and HTML5 in a GUI) | Magnifier (Vista+) Functions UDF | _DLLStructDisplay (Debug!) | _EnumChildWindows (controls etc) | _FileFindEx | _ClipGetHTML | _ClipPutHTML + ClipPutHyperlink | _FileGetShortcutEx | _FilePropertiesDialog | I/O Port Functions | File(s) Drag & Drop | _RunWithReducedPrivileges | _ShellExecuteWithReducedPrivileges | _WinAPI_GetSystemInfo | dotNETGetVersions | Drive(s) Power Status | _WinGetDesktopHandle | _StringParseParameters | Screensaver, Sleep, Desktop Lock Disable | Full-Screen Crash Recovery Wrappers/Modifications of others' contributions: _DOSWildcardsToPCRegEx (original code: RobSaunder's) | WinGetAltTabWinList (original: Authenticity) UDF's added support/programming to: _ExplorerWinGetSelectedItems | MIDIEx UDF (original code: eynstyne) (All personal code/wrappers centrally located at Ascend4nt's AutoIT Code)
Developers Jos Posted May 30, 2011 Author Developers Share Posted May 30, 2011 (edited) To avoid obfuscation of some Func names just do: #Obfuscator_Ignore_Funcs=MyFunc Did made the modification to avoid Obfuscating a Func when you code it like you did in the current available beta v1.0.28.17. It still is risky doing it this way especially when there are Variable names in the Func parameters but agree it should work like this. Ascend4nt
To avoid obfuscation of some Func names just do: #Obfuscator_Ignore_Funcs=MyFunc Ahh, yes. That requires me to go through all #include'd files and find the functions that need to avoid obfuscation. However, I've just tried it again, and it seems it works *some* of the time on simple tests when I add the directive to the top of #include'd files. For more complex code, #obfuscator still ignores that directive in #include's. So it looks like I'll either have to use #obfuscator_off/_on, or continue going through all #includes and putting the function names in the main file. Did made the modification to avoid Obfuscating a Func when you code it like you did in the current available beta v1.0.28.17. It still is risky doing it this way especially when there are Variable names in the Func parameters but agree it should work like this. Thanks for the quick fix! Shouldn't the function's variable names not be touched either? I guess if would make more sense to wrap the entire function with #obfuscator_off/_on in that case, though. archrival
Is it possible to pass a parameter to obfuscator.exe that will auto accept any error messages and still continue with obfuscation? I know I can include this functionality in a wrapper, but I'd love to never see any window at all.

archrival
What error box do you mean that is generated in Obfuscator? The title is Obfuscator Warnings/Errors and contains these warnings:-### StripOnly/StripFunc Error: Found Call() statement using unsolvable Func, which will/could lead to removal of Funcs that are used by this Function.-### StripOnly/StripFunc Error: Found DllCallbackRegister() statement using unsolvable Func, which will/could lead to removal of Funcs that are used by this Function. All functions that are used in these scenarios I have ignored using the #Obfuscator_Ignore_Funcs directive so I am OK with continuing with the obfuscation/compile. I'm trying to add this to a build process and I was hoping there is a flag that will auto accept the "Continue anyway" option and not show the dialog.
