Moderators big_daddy Posted June 25, 2007 Author Moderators Share Posted June 25, 2007 (edited) A way to open in scite all code posted in that page, without selecting it manualy I have a question about this. Which should I do...Open each code block in a separate temp fileOpen all code blocks in the same temp file just sectioned offProvide an option to do eitherWhat you've got is much simpler than this... but I did something like this a long while ago (one of my first!) I'm sure it needs a lot of cleanup, but feel free to use anything from it. (looking at this code makes me cringe a bit, but some of it may be helpful):Thanks for the code. JdeB provided me with some nice command line arguments for SciTE that make editing/running code very easy. jvanegmond
I would rather have it open each code block in a seperate temp file, and on different tabs in SciTe. But I guess different tabs is a per-user setting in SciTe. github.com/jvanegmond

martin
I have a question about this. Which should I do...Open each code block in a separate temp fileOpen all code blocks in the same temp file just sectioned offProvide an option to do eitherAn option to do either is my vote. I am sure that if you do it just one way then you will get lots of requests to do it the other. Serial port communications UDF Includes functions for binary transmission and reception.printing UDF Useful for graphs, forms, labels, reports etc.Add User Call Tips to SciTE for functions in UDFs not included with AutoIt and for your own scripts.Functions with parameters in OnEvent mode and for Hot Keys One function replaces GuiSetOnEvent, GuiCtrlSetOnEvent and HotKeySet.UDF IsConnected2 for notification of status of connected state of many urls or IPs, without slowing the script. ResNullius
@big_daddy, I love this extension. Thanks much. Question/Feature request: is it possible to automatically include the thread or post link and possibly poster's name as script comments when opening a code block in Scite? I do this all the time manually so that I can be sure to trace back where code came from and give proper credit where credit is due if I use the code. Moderators big_daddy Posted August 7, 2007 Author Moderators Share Posted August 7, 2007 @ResNullius - As soon as I get the preferences system working properly I'll include this as an option. Thanks for the input. --- I finally got the "Edit all with SciTE" working so I'll probably release AutoIt Menu v1.2.3 tomorrow.
