Achilles Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 (edited) This isn't directly related to AutoIt but I was thinking about a simple way to install a program I made on a friend's computer and decided that I could burn it to a CD easily enough. So I've playing around with that and have got a simple autoplay to pop up and under "My Computer" it has the icon so it almost looks professional ... however the name of the CD is a bunch of random numbers and I don't know how to fix that, so I was wondering if any here does. Usually CD's have names that reflect what they are (for example: the Warcraft III CD actually is called "Warcraft III" when you look at it from the "My Computer" directory). Hopefuly I've made my problem clear, and if not please feel free to ask questions (or even better give a solution...) Thanks EDIT: Here's a picture: Edited March 6, 2007 by Piano_Man My Programs

Knight Media Player
Multiple Desktops
Daily Comics
Journal
CyberSlug Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Usually your CD burning software lets you choose the title, volume name, whatever of the disc you create. Use Mozilla | Take a look at My Disorganized AutoIt stuff | Very very old: AutoBuilder 11 Jan 2005 prototype I need to update my sig!

GEOSoft Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Ahh, that would explain it, and I found where to fix it. Thanks! (also thanks for the fast reply)You could also do it by writing an Autorun.inf file to the root of the CD. [Autorun] label = My Very Own Disk George Question about decompiling code?
