James Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 This seems awfully like a Keylogger. Blog - Seriously epic web hosting - Twitter - GitHub - Cachet HQ
The Kandie Man Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 Are you aware that Jon doesn't allow keyloggers on his forum? *Waiting for Mod to lock thread* "So man has sown the wind and reaped the world. Perhaps in the next few hours there will no remembrance of the past and no hope for the future that might have been." & _"All the works of man will be consumed in the great fire after which he was created." & _"And if there is a future for man, insensitive as he is, proud and defiant in his pursuit of power, let him resolve to live it lovingly, for he knows well how to do so." & _"Then he may say once more, 'Truly the light is sweet, and what a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to see the sun.'" - The Day the Earth Caught Fire
James Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 But it really does seem like one, it sends all keys to a file. Which can be changed around. Blog - Seriously epic web hosting - Twitter - GitHub - Cachet HQ
Glyph Posted December 9, 2006 Author Posted December 9, 2006 The bot reads form it and then sends the recorded keys its basically a autobot that sends anything the user sends tolle indicium
The Kandie Man Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 It's not.I would severely disagree. Stating the fact that each function logs whatever a user types by appending to to a variable and then sending the key the user just typed so that they don't know that their keypress was actually logged. James Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 And all along, we've been helping you. Just because you call it a bot, doesn't mean that someone stupid cannot make it record keystrokes on its own. Blog - Seriously epic web hosting - Twitter - GitHub - Cachet HQ
Glyph Posted December 9, 2006 Author Posted December 9, 2006 Who said it was for someone else, its for me and my typing only. tolle indicium
James Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 Yes, but you have just show us the script. Blog - Seriously epic web hosting - Twitter - GitHub - Cachet HQ

James Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 We should let a mod decide, and Valik is reading it now. Blog - Seriously epic web hosting - Twitter - GitHub - Cachet HQ
Valik Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 Since you obviously don't get it even though several users have said it repeatedly. Your code was a (poor) keylogger. Keyloggers are not allowed here. Period.
