Is there a way to mute firefox? I have firefox running...it's important I can't close it...and it's playing a swf file...but the sound it's anoying...and I need to listen to something else...How can I mute firefox? 10x in advance

1: why is it playing anything? are you on a site with background music?

2: just because firefox is open doesnt mean it should be playing a swf... maybe you got a virus or something?

Goes like this...i am on a site that has a swf playin' in the page...i need to w8 for the swf to end...but it's anoying...the sound...i just want to play the swf in the page but somehow stop the sound while that site is loading...

For firefox, there's FlashBlock, but that might be overkill, and I am thinking you want to keep the flash object, just mute it...
