_Kurt
Hi, thanks for the reply but this doesnt work for me, pasting into word looks a little better but still scrambled? Then pasting back into scite or notepad (from word2003) reverts back to very scrambled basically all the script is on 3 lines?Hmm, I wouldn't know another way to fix it. Maybe try what 'this-is-me' had suggested and paste into a notepad perhaps. If ALL fails, I'm afraid you're going to have to space it all out Lol, feels like I'm telling you that you have been paralysed for life Kurt Edited October 25, 2006 by _Kurt Awaiting Diablo III.. Rad
Okay, my case plugs into the motherboard for the power button, does that mean my motherboard has it's own power button? No, it doesn't. So saying it's a "motherboard speaker" because it plugs into the motherboard is just stupid and shows a high level of ignorance. Unless it's built onto the motherboard, it's not part of the motherboard.LOL i almost took offence to thisSeriously, its a tiny little speaker thats put there to alert you when your in BIOS basicallyIts the motherboard speaker, because its internal. i never said there were motherboard power supplies or harddrives, but what else would you call it? The case speaker would make sense, but in my case *lol* it doesnt attach to the case at all. Its attached to the motherboard. I just checked it the other day, and yea its fried or somethin =(...You called me ignorant over a speaker inside a computer, LOL
Valik
Seemingly a case speaker is commonly called a "motherboard speaker" as well, at least based on what I see people calling a "motherboard speaker" at links found via Google. I've never seen a speaker on the motherboard. I've only seen then built into the case and attach to the motherboard via cables just like all other components that are built into the case (USB ports, audio ports, power cables, LEDs). Obviously, I've also never heard it it called "motherboard speaker" since it's built into the case, not the motherboard.
Paulie
(Pointless arguing) I vote we just call it an 'Internal' speaker, and leave it at that. And no, I don't care about its present location, I'm still calling it an Internal speaker even if you remove it from the motherboard/case Edited October 27, 2006 by Paulie
dandymcgee
Lol! This is completely useless to argue over. just say that you appreciate Paulie's work and move on, if you have any other things to be argued/discussed take it to a PM . - Dan [Website]

dandymcgee
Yay! bring this back to life! I love beep songs, and while I'm horrible at making them, I love listening to your works of art. Maybe somebody could attempt to make a better beep song than Fur Elise and Flight of the Bumble Bees (the two best by far). dandymcgee
It's actually easier if you just include Paulie's script in the example script rather than the example scripts in Paulie's script (like I had orginally been doing, don't know about the rest of ya ). - Dan [Website]

dandymcgee
Yay... I've replied to this topic 3 times already... and my posts won't "post", but hopefully the forums are fixed now. How do you write your beep songs, do you listen to the song and just program each note as it goes? I use an excellent MIDI decompiler I downloaded for free from: http://www.borg.com/~jglatt/progs/software.htm It actually decompiles into a text file you can view with any .txt file editor (Notepad, WordPad, etc.) I was thinking about writing an AutoIt script to read the file and just write the Beep Song for me... but I'm too lazy, lol. You might have an easier way already, this is just a suggestion. BRING ON THE BEEP SONGS!!!! PAULIE ROCKS! - Dan [Website]
