winkot Posted September 23 Posted September 23 I want to try storing the password in the registry. The lack of secrecy of this method is known. But nevertheless, in which class/section is it better to do this?

But the encrypted string, is encrypted. Unless you know how to unencrypt it. 1 hour ago, winkot said: But nevertheless, in which class/section is it better to do this? Anywhere you feel like it. The structure to be followed is relative to how imaginative you feel like being. What you didn't say is, what are you going to use it for ?, because if that password is paramount, don't do it at all. Think in a degree of escalation, and code with that in mind. Follow the link to my code contribution ( and other things too ). FAQ - Please Read Before Posting.
