SciTE indentation settings

Recommended Posts

It's a while since I can't manage to have a consistent indentation in SciTE and github but I was too busy to see where is the issue. Now I decided it's time to fix this because it's annoying. If I create a script in SciTE and then I open the script with notepad, vscode, etc it looks like crap. If I fix the code alignment in other editors and reopen with SciTE it looks like crap also, like in the picture below. On top it's SciTE with line comments misaligned and on the bottom it's vscode where it looks fine.

I don't use tabs at all. Here is the indentation setting in SciTE.

How can I view the same thing across all editors?

I don't know much about SciTEs inners, but I know years ago I had to stop using tabs for alignment.

I know you said you're not using tabs, but maybe go to -> View -> Whitespace

Are you seeing dots or arrows?

Fixed ebonics

Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.

The font I stole  took from another PC of mine. No idea why is not part of the default fonts in every version.

<Link removed> (The transfer you requested has been deleted.) Meh.
My font. Hurry. You only have 11 month to get it. Act Now.
Saw it on TV and now I have the "act now" stuck in my brain 🤪

Addendum: "Simply upload a file, share the link, and after it is downloaded, the file is completely deleted." The more you know read :)
