aRandomGuy
Hello, I am working on a website that generate around ~400 <div> tag, using this code to fetch them all with chromedriver Quote $sElement = _WD_FindElement($sSession,$_WD_LOCATOR_ByTagName,"div",'',true) i want to click the one at the index of 150 ( $sElement[150] ) Currently i am doing Quote For $x=0 To Ubound($sElement) If(x==150) then ;clicking stuff endif Next This works fine, However i realize that since the number of <div> tag is huge ( ~400), the loading speeding is extremely slow AND since i want to click exactly at the index of 150, are there any way to achieve this with less effort ? Thank you !
ioa747
#include <Array.au3> Local $aData = StringSplit("i want to click the one at the index of 150", "") ;~ _ArrayDisplay($aData) ;case if i know that is in line 15 Local $Ln = 15 ConsoleWrite($aData[$Ln] & " if i know that is in line " & $Ln & @CRLF) ;case I don't know the line For $i = 1 To $aData[0] If $aData[$i] = "k" Then ConsoleWrite($aData[$i] & " found in line " & $i & @CRLF) ExitLoop ; if it finds it, it can exit the loop, you don't need it to go all the way EndIf Next Edit: If(x==150) then == is not the correct expression here, (a waste of time) == Tests if two strings are equal. Case-sensitive. The left and right values are converted to strings if they are not strings already. mLipok
Btw. There is always a better way to determine the correct XPath / CSSQuery. Please share the link to website or at least use browser extensions like SavePage WE to save website to single MHTML file, anonymyze the MHTML fle content and share to us. Danp2
This should be easy with the correct xpath -- $sElement = _WD_FindElement($sSession,$_WD_LOCATOR_ByXPath,"//div[150]") _WD_ElementAction($sSession, $sElement, 'click') aRandomGuy 1 Latest Webdriver UDF Release Webdriver Wiki FAQs

Danp2
The problem with solutions based on position (ie: my "//div[150]" and your "$sElement[150]") is that they will likely fail in the future whenever the site is modified. Have you tried using one of the tools listed in the wiki to come up with an xpath this is more likely to survive a site change?
