Zmylna
A bizarre problem with Tidy. Hi everyone. I've started having a strange problem with Tidy for a while now. Every time I try to use Tidy it scrolls hundreds of lines at the bottom of SCITE and it goes on forever I reinstalled Autoit, SCITE, deleted all settings and still the same thing. Below is a link of what it looks like: Tidy Has anyone encountered something like this ? Edited September 28, 2023 by Zmylna
Nine
Yes, you need to use new tidy from Jos signature. TheDcoder
Looks like a pretty major bug, how did this make into the stable releases? @Zmylna Also I'd like to offer some unsolicited advice: Try to avoid using Tidy by writing Tidy code yourself, it's a good habit EasyCodeIt - A cross-platform AutoIt implementation - Fund the development! TheDcoder
@Jos I'm sorry that you don't get enough feedback from beta testers. I was just commenting on the bug as it seems to be a very apparent one, not one of the edge-case bugs which might not be caught during regular development. Of course I could be wrong, that's why I posted my comment so that any additional info or context could be added Personally I don't use any of the extra tools that much or at all, the one I use the most is the compiler wrapper because the native compiler is so limited. It is not a silly comment, it was a serious suggestion wrapped with a humorous opening (to convey the fact that I'm not trying to be-little anyone). I suggest everyone to start developing good habits early on, it makes you a good thinker. 44 minutes ago, Jos said: For clarity: I am fine you all enjoy the Chats there.
