A bizarre problem with Tidy.
Hi everyone.
I've started having a strange problem with Tidy for a while now.
Every time I try to use Tidy it scrolls hundreds of lines at the bottom of SCITE and it goes on forever :(

I reinstalled Autoit, SCITE, deleted all settings and still the same thing.

Below is a link of what it looks like:

Tidy

Has anyone encountered something like this ?

Looks like a pretty major bug, how did this make into the stable releases?

@Zmylna Also I'd like to offer some unsolicited advice: Try to avoid using Tidy by writing Tidy code yourself, it's a good habit

funny ....  you have an opinion now but when I request people to test the beta before release, hardly anybody including you helps out.

@Jos I'm sorry that you don't get enough feedback from beta testers. I was just commenting on the bug as it seems to be a very apparent one, not one of the edge-case bugs which might not be caught during regular development. Of course I could be wrong, that's why I posted my comment so that any additional info or context could be added :)

Personally I don't use any of the extra tools that much or at all, the one I use the most is the compiler wrapper because the native compiler is so limited.

Maybe a better option is to refrain from making such a comment when you have no clue as it

In this case it is a one time issue when the new cache files are created so hence not so obvious as that only happens when they don't exist or a newer AutoIt3 is loaded, so this would not show up for anybody upgrading the FULL SciTE4AutoI3.

... and honestly these kind of silly comments don't belong here either. This is not the Chat forum where you guys normally dump your every  thought into many threads.
For clarity: I am fine you all enjoy the Chats there.

Ah, I see, thanks for the info.

To be fair I wouldn't have known what caused the issue if I had not commented ;)

It is not a silly comment, it was a serious suggestion wrapped with a humorous opening (to convey the fact that I'm not trying to be-little anyone). I suggest everyone to start developing good habits early on, it makes you a good thinker.

Thanks for the clarification :)
