its an exe file, it demonstrates use...

Sometimes people install Autoit to "Run" with a double-click, This system was designed for Autoit to "Edit" when double clicked, other than that, it should run fine, again, it is an exe file

I thought I gave you the solution for that :) (the thing about it being designed for if Edit is the default command)

Well I'm stumped on the Basic Exam, questions 8 & 10.

Both are forum locations...

#8 "Beta" Can be found in what Forum...v3

Should be Developer Chat, but it ain't.

#10 "Forum" to request additional Help...v3

General Help and Support would be my guess, but my guess is not the correct guess.

Maybe stuff got moved around on the forum?

With no hints and no way to move on, this is no fun anymore. :)

Number of Attempts> 48

How is that possible, there are only 10 choices, i don't think it was just the "forum" questions, because a process of elimination should have worked quite well

When I was running it I didn't not have any choices. In fact I'm not sure where to find the choices. I even looked through some of the au3 files to see if I could find some. The list boxes never have any data to drop down, are they supposed to?

Yes... absolutely!!!

It works on XP. For some reason the drop-downs weren't dropping down on my W2k machine at work.

It's much easier when they work!!

Small bug in the level 3 exam:

$F = "NAME1", $L = "NAME2", thus $F & $L = "NAME1 NAME2"

Ofcourse I tought false, because it would have been NAME1NAME2. The correct answer was true! It took me 29 attempts to figure that out =/ Pretty much ruined my score lol...

I'm pretty sure this is a bug, or else I seriously have to re-read some tutorials =/

Maybe something like this?

#include <GUIConstants.au3>

#region - GUI Create
GUICreate('Test', 320, 20)
GUICtrlCreateButton("", 10, 10, 300, 2, Default, $WS_EX_STATICEDGE)
GUISetState()
#endregion

#region - GUI SelectLoop
While 1
    $msg = GUIGetMsg()
    Select
        Case $msg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            Exit
    EndSelect
WEnd
#endregion

You told me you were pretty sure that's no bug, but I think different. Why would a space appear out of nowhere?

as written in the actual script...

'#6. $F = "Dale ", $L = "Hohm", Thus $F && $L = "Dale Hohm"...'

THE SPACE.....^^
