Martin_Bauer Posted December 10, 2022 Posted December 10, 2022 Hi Guys. I was just playing around with Notepad++ and saw this little nifty feature, a Document Map on the side. Does anyone know if it is possible to get such a minimap inside the Scite IDE? that would be so much help for long Coding projects. I have heard that Notepad ++ is not that differnt as scite in its core. but i can be wrong. I wish everyone a happy holiday.

It uses the au3lexer I wrote for SciTE many moons ago, which is part of Lexilla/SciLexer, but that version hasn't been update for many years as I haven't shared the changes I've made since 2007. Other than that, the editors are totally different. The SciTE4AutoIt3 includes SciTEJump, which makes it easy to find/jump to code in the Scriptfile. That would also sound like a huge help for visibility, but when pressing AltQ i get an error .Might be my fault, as i am using a custom User option file.
Developers Jos Posted December 11, 2022 Developers Posted December 11, 2022 Have a look here how that is solved: SciTE4AutoIt3 Full installer Download page - Beta files Read before posting How to post scriptsource Forum etiquette Forum Rules Live for the present, Dream of the future, Learn from the past.
Dan_555 Posted December 11, 2022 Posted December 11, 2022 (edited) Looks like the new version of autoIt made a script breaking change ?!? The same error is here, as well. But you can fix it, if you edit the scite jump.au3 : edit ... looks like it was solved Edited December 11, 2022 by Dan_555 Some of my script sourcecode

Nope, One should never use internal defined variables from an Include file as that could cause these type of issues! It is fixed in the current available Beta version.
