Developers Jos Posted December 9, 2022 Developers Share Posted December 9, 2022 (edited) So your notepad executable is called -notepad in stead of notepad.exe.. and you like to have 2 cmd.exe's started also with the required cmd.exe parameter? Oh...and even if it would work you would like you hide it? I am sure you can do much better than this with a little research. No, I put notepad in place of an executable that I have for a program that's installed so that everyone can use it. So I tried to update my code based on yoru suggestion. Local $iPID = Run(@ComSpec & "notepad", @SystemDir, @SW_HIDE) That doesn't work either. I'm trying to run CMD in a hidden window and launch an EXE, which is notepad in this case and will be my installed program once I put that in. Edited December 9, 2022 by Draygoes Added details. Developers Jos Posted December 9, 2022 Developers Share Posted December 9, 2022 (edited) ... there are ample examples in the helpfile and honestly the Run() helpfile example runs notepad so what is the issue with that way?
