Guest smoke81
What I'm trying to do is make a script that will look through some html code and delete what is not needed. I'm sure this is going to be alot harder than I can even think of. Although, I'm very new to writing scripts, and was looking for some help to lead me in the right direction. Saying this is even possible with auto it. Thanks for your help!
ezzetabi
What do you mean with "unneeded"? Do you want to remove some tags like <scripts> </scripts> or what?
Guest smoke81
I guess I should of specified a little more, my bad. Well when updating my site (which is php) When you post the news you post it in html format, and it only accepts <b> <i> <a> <em> <br> <strong> <blockquote> <tt> <li> <ol> <ul> tags. Sometimes when I receive news in a email to be posted it comes up witha ton of stuff that won't let me post the news easly. Would want to run it through this and have it replace the tags with what will work or delete what is not needed. I hope thats a lil more help. Sorry for not being clear on that.
