Sascha_77 Posted August 4, 2022 Share Posted August 4, 2022 (edited) Hi. I´m using OutlookEX and its a really great extension! But now I´m stuck with switching the Signature in an eMail Draft. These is my code. It works so far, bot it does not switch the Signature to "Sascha". Any ideas? Global $oOutlook = _OL_Open() If @error <> 0 Then Exit MsgBox(16, "OutlookEX UDF", "Error creating a connection to Outlook. @error = " & @error & ", @extended = " & @extended) $objOutlook = ObjCreate("Outlook.Application") $OutlookMailItem = $objOutlook.CreateItem($olMailItem) $OutlookMailItem.To = $sMail $OutlookMailItem.Subject = "Kürzung zu Ihrem Beleg " & $sRefNummer $OutlookMailItem.HTMLBody = ("") _OL_MailSignatureSet("Sascha", "Sascha") $OutlookMailItem.Display EDIT: Ok solved it myself. I simply deleted the HTMLBody Line and now its working. Edited August 4, 2022 by Sascha_77 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
water Posted August 4, 2022 Share Posted August 4, 2022 I suggest not to mix UDF functions and COM if not needed. So your code could look like: Global $sTo = "Name des Empfängers" Global $sSignature = "Sascha" Global $sSubject = "Kürzung zu Ihrem Beleg " & $sRefNummer Global $oOutlook = _OL_Open() If @error <> 0 Then Exit MsgBox(16, "OutlookEX UDF", "Error creating a connection to Outlook. @error = " & @error & ", @extended = " & @extended) _OL_MailSignatureSet($sSignature, $sSignature) If @error <> 0 Then Exit MsgBox(16, "OutlookEX UDF", "Error setting the signature. @error = " & @error & ", @extended = " & @extended) $oMailItem = _OL_ItemCreate($oOutlook, $olMailItem, Default, Default, "Subject=" & $sSubject) If @error <> 0 Then Exit MsgBox(16, "OutlookEX UDF", "Error creating the mail item. @error = " & @error & ", @extended = " & @extended) _OL_ItemRecipientAdd($oOutlook, $oMailItem, Default, olTo, $sTo) If @error <> 0 Then Exit MsgBox(16, "OutlookEX UDF", "Error adding recipient. @error = " & @error & ", @extended = " & @extended) _OL_ItemDisplay($oOutlook, $oMailItem, Default) If @error <> 0 Then Exit MsgBox(16, "OutlookEX UDF", "Error displaying the mail item. @error = " & @error & ", @extended = " & @extended) Sascha_77 1 My UDFs and Tutorials: Spoiler UDFs: Active Directory (NEW 2024-07-28 - Version 1.6.3.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts - Wiki ExcelChart (2017-07-21 - Version 0.4.0.1) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts OutlookEX (2021-11-16 - Version 1.7.0.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts - Wiki OutlookEX_GUI (2021-04-13 - Version 1.4.0.0) - Download Outlook Tools (2019-07-22 - Version 0.6.0.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Wiki PowerPoint (2021-08-31 - Version 1.5.0.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts - Wiki Task Scheduler (2022-07-28 - Version 1.6.0.1) - Download - General Help & Support - Wiki Standard UDFs: Excel - Example Scripts - Wiki Word - Wiki Tutorials: ADO - Wiki WebDriver - Wiki Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
