I would vote YES YES YES when switching from x86 to x64 would be 2x faster, even 50% would be great.
But if it is 5% I would say do not bother about.
I'm saying this with a perspecitive of really big DEV ENV you know about it.
And I would love if it get works 2 times faster, but I'm not convinced that any miracles will happen here.

 nah ...   doubt that, but knock yourself out and do some testing with the x64 version available here. just replace the current 3 x86 files with the files in the zip.  

Curious to know what the real improvement will be.

I found no noticeable speed differences (positive or negative) testing x64 with some average sized files.

I do however, notice a general lag (~ 1/2 a second) when switching between tabs. Happens in both x86 and x64.

That is to be expected and will depend on the size of the file and directory the script is in as the current tables need to be loaded when switching. That is the sacrifice of the dynamic stuff.

I notice slow down in some cases: when I type $_WD_DEB and hit ENTER key

Then I have lag about 30 seconds.

I know that I have very specific DEV ENV (very big).

So I turn on:

And did test with previous version... previously it was:

Now with the latest setup I get:

Guess you have used "" around the path in directive: #AutoIt3Wrapper_AutoIt3Dir:"z:\AutoItPortable\AutoIt_3_3_14_5"?

Initial conclusion from the Logfile is that the reason it takes very long is the Recursive check which you changed to y. 
Could you try to switch that to n and test again just to confirm?

becasue when I turn on all debuging features it takes even longer when I did new test to generate log file.

tested, switched to n

confirmed as Recursive=n fixed the problem

 

But what are the disadvantages of this non recursive setup?

Already know the disadvantages are that script will always add

I know and just need you to confirm that this is causing the issue! I am trying to narrow down what the reason could be.
...  so please try to disable it and check if that makes it fast again.   Also please comment on my other remarks like the Old-Log doesn't look like it is faster or am I  missing something:?   You have to realize that I can't replicate your issue at the moment so can't do any proper debugging myself!

as I said after changed to:

#SciTE4AutoIt3_Dynamic_Include_recursive_check=n

it is fine:
