Window that was not created in Autoit, make background transparent.

Is it possible to make the background transparent of a window that was not created with Autoit's Guicreate? Any commands or suggestions?

WinSetTrans() applies transparency to the entire window and I only need to apply it to the background, ie to a certain color.

Ok... I didn't pick up that distinction when I read your OP. Have you tried with _WinAPI_SetLayeredWindowAttributes?

Today I needed to apply transparency to a window in windows xp and _WinAPI_SetLayeredWindowAttributes() didn't work well because the window is transparent but also blinks all the time, does anyone know how to solve it or know another alternative to work well in windows xp?
