CoffeeJoe Posted September 23, 2021 Posted September 23, 2021 (edited) I just finished putting together about 35 lines of code to tell GDI+ to draw me a rectangle - fill it with this color - add this text - in this font - this color... blah blah blah . When I was done it looked as expected. I then realized I could have created the identical result with about 4 lines using a label - also it would be a simple matter to change the text when I need to. What is the official stance on this as a "good practice"? - Voice in my head says "Labels aren't images, they're labels..." I've seen plenty of examples where others have just used labels as colored buttons ... while its easy, is there any reason not to do this? (... asking for a friend 😁) Edited September 23, 2021 by CoffeeJoe
