Rurorita
Im coding a TCP UDF and wonder, is this fast for Autoit or can i improve? The client send with 41,79 MB/s and the server receives as much. Im running a i5 9600K on a MSI Z-390A, with a Single Channel DDR4 2666 Mhz (the other is defect). No data encryption or data compression is used, because both arent ready. Is it what my provider provides me speed wise? If so then 20 mb/s down and around 5 mb/s up. However the test i did was only through the loopback adapter. Because for some reason, that i yet couldnt figure out, i never can upload more then 12.5 mb through my device if i connect to myself over the external ip. At all i try to make the udf as fast as i can and wonder if 40 mb is fast or not for autoit. JockoDundee
If you post the code for your test and the process you followed to get your benchmark, who knows maybe someone will look for speed improvements and someone might even run your program on their hardware and give you a reference. Since you haven’t done this, I’m assuming you just want some ad hoc ‘gut check’ statement on your 41MB/s figure, so here it is: ”Probably reasonable.” TheDcoder and Rurorita 1 1 Code hard, but don’t hard code...
