zoomi
Hi All I am trying to run powershell code embedded in AutoIT script but not having success. If I just run the code in PowerShell ISE it works just fine (I see the file true.dat file in Temp folder). Anyone has any idea as to what I might be doing wrong? thanks #include <AutoItConstants.au3> #include <GuiConstantsEx.au3> #include <WinAPIFiles.au3> Local $sCommand = 'PowerShell.exe -ExecutionPolicy bypass ' $sCommand &= "$file = $env:TEMP\true.dat" $sCommand &= ' ; ' $sCommand &= 'If (Test-Path "HKCU:\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{00425F68-FFC1-445F-8EDF-EF78B84BA1C7}"){New-Item $file}' $sCommand &= ' ; ' Run($sCommand, "", @SW_HIDE) Exit
TheXman
You need to brush up on your debugging skills. The first thing you should want to know is what the generated command line looks like. You can easily do that by writing it out to the console. If you can't see the problem, then cut & paste the generated command line to a command console and run it. Do you see the problem, now? #include <Constants.au3> #include <GuiConstantsEx.au3> #include <WinAPIFiles.au3> Local $sCommand = 'PowerShell.exe -ExecutionPolicy bypass ' $sCommand &= "$file = $env:TEMP\true.dat" $sCommand &= ' ; ' $sCommand &= 'If (Test-Path "HKCU:\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{00425F68-FFC1-445F-8EDF-EF78B84BA1C7}"){New-Item $file}' $sCommand &= ' ; ' ConsoleWrite("Command Line = " & $sCommand & @CRLF) ;~ Run($sCommand, "", @SW_HIDE) Console Output: Command Line = PowerShell.exe -ExecutionPolicy bypass $file = $env:TEMP\true.dat ; If (Test-Path "HKCU:\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{00425F68-FFC1-445F-8EDF-EF78B84BA1C7}"){New-Item $file} ; Edited June 3, 2021 by TheXman Musashi 1 CryptoNG UDF: Cryptography API: Next Gen jq UDF: Powerful and Flexible JSON Processor | jqPlayground: An Interactive JSON Processor Xml2Json UDF: Transform XML to JSON | HttpApi UDF: HTTP Server API | Roku Remote: Example Script About Me How To Ask Good Questions On Technical And Scientific Forums (Detailed) | How to Ask Good Technical Questions (Brief) "Any fool can know.
