Hi !

Is there a function on this udf to switch display :
- Standard display to mobile display
-Mobile Display to standard display

I m looking for the correct shortcut ( ctrl+Shift+M does not work) but i m wondering if 
there is not a function existing on the udf

No, there isn't a UDF function to perform this action. Ctrl-Shift-M works for me on Firefox. I'm guessing that you are using Chrome. Is that correct?

Edit: You may be able to accomplish this with _WD_CDPExecuteCommand, but it's not something I've investigated.

I found on Chrome the correct shortcut is Ctrl+Shift+j but in Firefox  the shortcut is  Ctrl+Shift+m as you said

I m also interrested in the way to change the screen resolution, limitation fps and pivoting

Could  also _WD_CDPExecuteCommand change these settings ?

My browser was updated to Version 95.0.4638.54 sometime between 1715 Tuesday and 1659 Wednesday. As a result, all programs created using your brilliant WebDriver UDF stopped working until chromedriver.exe was replaced by a Version 95 compatible version

Is there any way though of throwing up an error message to explain the problem? The value of $sSession is null in such a case but don't know enough to take it further. Ideally, I would like to automatically update chromedriver.exe but that seems fraught with security problems.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Just open this udf and find them.

I would think that _WD_UpdateDriver could be updated so that it could be used to detect an out-of-date webdriver.

I thought  _WD_UpdateDriver() did just that.

Not too long ago, the _WD_UpdateDriver() function was split into separate functions:
_WD_GetBrowserVersion ()
_WD_GetWebDriverVersion ()
And comparing the versions is easy after all.

@mLipokIt doesn't allow you to detect the out-of-date driver without performing the update. My plan was to check if $bForce = Null and use that as a flag to allow the check to be performed without actually downloading the updated driver. I've coded the change, but haven't tested it yet.

Comparing versions isn't the same thing as checking online for a more appropriate version. 😅

Ah now I understand.
You want to make it possible to state that versions are out of date and only after approval (by the end user), trigger the update process?

Something like that ?

Kind of. This would give the script developer a way to detect an out-of-date webdriver. What they do with that info is up to them. 😉

Today ChromeDriver 95.0.4638.54 was released but the driver was not updated due to the fact that they switch to new site.

@mLipok_WD_UpdateDriver doesn't use that particular site, so AFAIK it should continue to work without issues.

and when run it (F5) as Script on windows 7 it`s work good .
