rudi Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 Hello, https://www.autoitscript.com/wiki/Decompiling_FAQ is stating that Autoit v3.2.5.1 is the latest version still containing the decompiler for those old-style-compiled Autoit scripts, that had tagged this option to allow decompilation. That version 3.2.5.1 is not listed here: https://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/files/archive/autoit/ autoit-v3.2.4.9-setup.exe 2016-06-12 19:42 4.2M autoit-v3.2.6.0-setup.exe 2016-06-12 19:42 4.2M should be inbetween these two, isn't it? I want to re-compile my old autoit scripts with the option "Save a copy of the Scriptsource in the output program resources" to do so I first need to decompile the old ones. Earth is flat, pigs can fly, and Nuclear Power is SAFE!

Developers Jos Posted March 30, 2021 Developers Posted March 30, 2021 (edited) Is it correct to conclude that the FAQ is wrong about mentioning that exe2aut is still available for download or is it my memory acting up here and should it still be available? EDIT: It is stil part of autoit-v3.2.8.1.zip so guess we didn't take it down. Last version that contained to old version exe2aut is autoit-v3.3.0.0-sfx.exe but that only worked on compiled exes up to v3.2.5.1 Jos Edited March 30, 2021 by Jos SciTE4AutoIt3 Full installer Download page - Beta files Read before posting How to post scriptsource Forum etiquette Forum Rules Live for the present, Dream of the future, Learn from the past.
