I find AutoIt to be very fast. How does it compare against other languages like C++, Java, C#, etc.? Also, what does AutoIt compile to? Thanks! No, AutoIt is slow because fully interpreted (not actually compiled), so not a premium choice for either sorting, fractals or number crunching. The speed was the same (file read etc.). But in general autoit is very slow when it comes to special things and also there is no modern gui theme.
