doggy
Hey, how can i write somethink working like this: https://regex101.com/r/nfB3nR/5 I googled, that in AU3 $ is not working, so what can I do?
jchd
Who pretends this? Who's his/her drug dealer? Please read the StringRegExp help and focus on Options. In the regex from regex101 you use switches which are not set by default in AU3 implementation. Local $s = _ "questionx" & _ "questiony" & _ "questionza" & _ "questionaas" & _ "questionbasa" & _ "questioncdfd" & _ "questionddgf" & _ "vkjasdashdjk " & _ "SKDJSK" & _ "fsfsdf " & _ "3lrkdfl " & _ "983439" & _ "fksds" & _ "kjadksajdsjdskd" & _ "asmndsamdds" & _ "questioncdfdwwewe" & _ "question" _ArrayDisplay(StringRegExp($s, "q\we\w{3}on$", 3)) Edited June 9, 2020 by jchd FrancescoDiMuro 1 This wonderful site allows debugging and testing regular expressions (many flavors available). doggy
Ok, sorry. So i need to use (?m)? StringRegExp(FileRead($dump), 'm\w{6,6}o\w{1,1}(?m)', 3)
jchd
Re-read! Dollar in PCRE means different things when option ?m is on/off. Options are in front of the regex in PCRE (which is the same engine used by regex101 btw). Perl uses the syntax \regex\options\ but PCRE requires (?options)regex (like in AU3). Also \w{6,6} means \w{6} and \w{1,1} is just \w Edited June 9, 2020 by jchd doggy 1 This wonderful site allows debugging and testing regular expressions (many flavors available). doggy
I'm getting a little closer to understanding this 😄 so this: StringRegExp(FileRead($dump), 'm\w{6,6}o\w{1,1}(?m)', 3) should be: Local $answer = StringRegExp(FileRead($dump), 'm\w{6}o\w$', 3) am I right? jchd
Invalid option use: you're still try to use Perl/Bourne/regex101 syntax, which is invalid here. Re-re-read help and study this: _ArrayDisplay(StringRegExp("word1" & @CRLF & " word" & @CRLF & "MyWord" , '(?im)wo\w{2,}$', 3)) _ArrayDisplay(StringRegExp("word1" & @CRLF & " word" & @CRLF & "MyWord" , '(?i)wo\w{2,}$', 3)) Next practice regexes.
