butterfly
I am trying to make something Simular - He made a countdown for example a game Release https://www.autoitscript.com/forum/topic/133632-stylish-countdown-gui/ I am on the other hand trying to make a Chess timer clock kinda thing and although I have not programmed for many years and was always a beginner level I am getting semi along and I think I need to tackle 3 hurdles about GUI issue, I will be only asking one question only I am trying to make my as example as simpel as possible I have a chessclock timer(with 7 buttons for control such as restart - settings - delete - pause etc) and I have a button to add a extra Chessclock with the the same amount buttons for that individual clock (so lets say running 4-5 at the same time) Going from 1 to 2 clocks etc, what is the best practice to keep in mind to make this as efficient and as best practice as possible? Nobody has to write me any code or help.. I just need a direction or a link please what I should focus on to make it efficient and do not mess up my the ID_ of $nMsg = GUIGetMsg() -------------------------------- Under here as just a example I saw in this guy code and I wondered if it is a good or bad practice? especially with huge future GUI programs --- So I kinda try to make my https://www.autoitscript.com/forum/topic/133632-stylish-countdown-gui/ Func _RestartScript() If @Compiled = 1 Then Run( FileGetShortName(@ScriptFullPath)) Else Run( FileGetShortName(@AutoItExe) & " " & FileGetShortName(@ScriptFullPath)) EndIf Exit EndFunc I have this provides enough information to help me!
