You are missing color code in there

Your code is fully wrong with only a few lines, why do you think that we are skeptical about the rest of your script ?

Serena - is there some reason why you have to use pixel search? It is the WORST way to do what you are attempting. You have said you are trying to see what text is there and move the mouse to it. 

Have you made any attempt to hook into the control in question and just read it? There are MANY examples here in the forum on how to do it. 

Can you at least show a partial screenshot of the text you are trying to read? Maybe the name of the application? If you provided the name of the application then there is a very high chance there is ready made code for you to use and you don't have to beat your head against the wall trying to do this. 

So far you have had MANY people try to help you and your responses are NOT helping yourself. This isn't hard. Just answer our questions in this simple form:

how can i give you a script that runs and needs a webpage and the database behind it.  all i want is a way to move a mouse pointer to  a highlighted text

like movemouse(highlighted text)

is there anyway other than pixelsearch.?

there is no answer on this site, i found some that asked what i am trying to do and there were  no  real answers, i have search for vbscript examples and there are none. there is a pixelsearch sample for vbscript,  which is a little different than autoit. but that would be a pain to try,, thats it i give up

will tell that user that that this script will not work, thanks for all the help

Why can't you put together a short "demonstration" script using a publicly available website (Google, Yahoo, etc)?
