This is an example script of how to load and use a VST using BASS in AutoIt.

It is NOT immediately Plug and Play. You will need to download 2 VST's to run it.

They are free for personal use.

All information is in the header of the script.

Oops, I overlooked a few settings.

If you downloaded the zip already, please delete that one,  and download the modified one in first post.

Same script, just changed a few things.

If that error is from Scite, I don't use that editor. I use UltraEdit32.

Just run it straight from AutoIt3.exe (32bit) (as any script of mine), and it should work.

If it doesn't, then tell me what OS and I'll see if I can track down the issue.

Also, as a general rule, I don't use Global, since Local does exactly the same thing when not in a function.

That way, I don't have to worry whats what or which goes where.

Old age, sorry.

-Edit-

I do use Opt('MustDeclareVars', 1) to remind me to declare the vars. (grin)

-Edit2-

Of course, you can do whatever you want with my code.

You can change it to suit your fancy, if you like.

I will be doing a minor update with event handling -- probably tomorrow, after I run a dozen tests,

to make sure it will hold.

Updated first post to v0.3

I managed to find a work-around solution for blips between songs using fading,

until a proper one can be found to clear the buffers gracefully.

The blips are still there, just can't hear them. This will work for the time being.

(I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier. I was so focused on clearing the buffers properly. oh well)

Updated first post to v0.4

Added Feature: "Back" and "Next"

Also, corrected an oversight for playlist mode.

This should be the last update for now, unless someone is experiencing a problem.

Please let me know how it's working for you (good or bad), either here in the forum or by PM.
