Use StringRegExpReplace to delete a line

Hello everyone

I don't know much about regular expressions.  I have a string $clippie which is text that uses @CRLF for line breaks.  I would like to delete everything from the second @CRLF to the third @CRLF (in other words, I want to delete the third line from the text).  Can I use just one line of StringRegExpReplace for that, and if so, how would that work?

Right now I accomplish this as follows (don't laugh):

$clippie = ClipGet ()
$clippie = StringReplace ($clippie, @CRLF, @CRLF & "<<<<<", 2)
$clippie = StringReplace ($clippie, @CRLF, ">>>>>" & @CRLF, 3)
$clippie = StringReplace ($clippie, "<<<<<", "", 1)
$clippie = StringReplace ($clippie, ">>>>>", "", 2)
$clippie = StringRegExpReplace ($clippie, "<<<<<.+>>>>>", "")

I use this website to test regular expressions, it's very helpful and has explanations on the side for the expression is doing

Exactly, it even offers a way to debug a pattern and look it work step by step along the subject. Keep the engine setting to PCRE as it matches what AutoIt uses.
