Fractured
My program asks you to open a UnitTest.xlsx, then it creates a new workbook, resorts the data from the first workbook into the second workbook. Once its done, I want the program to save the second workbook in the same directory as the first workbook was opened. This is the open code: ; Create application object $oExcel = _Excel_Open() If @error Then Exit MsgBox($MB_SYSTEMMODAL, "Excel Error", "Error creating the Excel application object." & @CRLF & "@error = " & @error & ", @extended = " & @extended) ; Open an existing workbook and return its object identifier. $FileOpen = FileOpenDialog("Unit Test XLSX to open", @WindowsDir & "\", "All (*.*)") $sWorkbook = $FileOpen $oWorkbook = _Excel_BookOpen($oExcel, $sWorkbook) GUICtrlSetData($File, $FileOpen, "") _GUICtrlRichEdit_SetCharColor($g_hRichEdit, 0x99) _GUICtrlRichEdit_ChangeFontSize($g_hRichEdit, 4) _GUICtrlRichEdit_AppendText($g_hRichEdit, "You Chose: " & $sWorkbook & @CRLF & @CRLF) Would I use the $FileOpen as the _Excel_BookSaveAs file path but change the "ALL(*.*)" to the new file name?
