I noticed you have Global on the same line as your If/Then. This is working for me:

if not IsDeclared('__WlanNetworkConnectFailed') Then
    Global $__WlanNetworkConnectFailed = False
EndIf

ConsoleWrite($__WlanNetworkConnectFailed & @CRLF)

or this if you want it one line:

if not IsDeclared('__WlanNetworkConnectFailed') Then Global $__WlanNetworkConnectFailed = False

ConsoleWrite($__WlanNetworkConnectFailed & @CRLF)

Hard to tell it was truncated from the screenshot (pictures are for Facebook, always better if you post actual code :) ).

If you try this, to test, do you still receive an error?

$__WlanNetworkConnectFailed = True

if not IsDeclared('__WlanNetworkConnectFailed') Then Global $__WlanNetworkConnectFailed = False

ConsoleWrite($__WlanNetworkConnectFailed & @CRLF)

Also, what version of AutoIt? And are you using the full SciTE download?

This work fine here;

if not IsDeclared('__WlanNetworkConnectFailed') Then Global $__WlanNetworkConnectFailed = False

What about we stop this hide-and-seek game and you post the real total script and the real error message you get?

Hmm, hard to test it since my comp doesn't have WiFi.  But I would suggest you check 2 things.  1- Try running it x64, see if the error still appears.  2- Check if there is some memory leaks, maybe memory gets corrupted.

Good luck.

hide-and-seek game, explain? REAL ERROR: Variable used without being declared (_WlanNotificationProc) or crash in any line with Sleep(10)

I am sorry but I do not see variable _WlanNotificationProc in the script, only a Func with that name.
... and what exactly does the last part mean as it doesn't make sense to me yet and again a new piece of the puzzle?

Seriously, I understand I made a challenging remark before, but try reading back through this thread... and what is your conclusion?
Mine is: There is no consistency in the provided information and everybody is guess, so really try helping yourself and us by simply providing a replicator script we can run that demonstrates the issue.

2. always have task manager open and keep an eye on memory usage by autoit3.exe, if it keeps rising somethings wrong.

Anyways, have you tried running it compiled and not just from scite ?

1 - already running it x64

Not true, if so it would show in your original script.  Make sure you do it by using this wrapper :

#AutoIt3Wrapper_UseX64=y

Best way to check all, is to compile your script (with options), run the .exe and check task manager...

Instead of checking to see if the variable is declared, why not just declare it yourself at the start of the script? That way you'll know it's declared and then you can assign a value to it later.
