Subz
Text files don't have versions, just use the date of the file to compare.

[en] I tried to put date, but I noticed that the date of the file is based on the time it was downloaded, so it is not aligned with the server. BrewManNH
One thing to look at for text file versions is called Alternate Data Streams, which are a way to attach something to a file that isn't seen in a normal text file, but can be retrieved to do what you're looking for. Here's another PedroWarlock 1 If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Zedna
Simple solution is to add to begin of TXT file one line with actual "file version" (for example: version=1.32) so later you can read first line of TXT to get its version and do comparing. Of course this can be done only when original TXT files can be modified Another variant is to use some type of HASH to compare if file is latest version or not. When the file is downloaded, the new version is saved to a text file. The comparison is done by a local text file X remote text file. I would like to compare with files and not TXT x TXT. Obrigado. Edited July 13, 2019 by PedroWarlock
