c.haslam
The Help says: For Listview items several states can be returned as $GUI_CHECKED and $GUI_UNCHECKED (only for listview controls with LVS_EX_CHECKBOXES-exstyle and on 'advanced' return) . So use i.e. BitAND(GUICtrlRead($Item),$GUI_CHECKED) to test if the item is checked. To get advanced return, I read that the second argument is needed. So is the 1 missing, i.e. should the expression be BitAND(GUICtrlRead($Item,1),$GUI_CHECKED) or BitAND(GUICtrlRead($Item,$GUI_READ_EXTENDED),$GUI_CHECKED) ? water
$GUI_READ_EXTENDED has a value of 1 (as described in the help file). So there is no difference between both statements you posted. c.haslam
I beg to differ! In my first paragraph, there is neither 1 nor $GUI_EXTENDED; in the second paragraph, there is. The expression in the Help lacks the second argument. The Help needs either ,1 or ,$GUI_EXTENDED Perhaps the difference is clearer as code: BitAND(GUICtrlRead($Item),$GUI_CHECKED) ; copied from the Help BitAND(GUICtrlRead($Item,$GUI_READ_EXTENDED),$GUI_CHECKED) ; my suggestion ; or BitAND(GUICtrlRead($Item,1),$GUI_CHECKED) ; my suggestion Spoiler CDebug Dumps values of variables including arrays and DLL structs, to a GUI, to the Console, and to the Clipboard
