Is it possible to compile script without any icon resources included?

When I make exe it uses default system icon of current OS even if I compile as console application.

On other versions of Windows it looks a little strange :)

Update:

It seems that the only way is remove icons from exe after compilation using resource editors like ResHacker.

another bad solution:

Using corrupted 35 bytes icon file. Windows can't load it and shows default system icon.

#pragma compile(Icon, broken.ico)

broken.ico

@dimm as Bert stated, your best bet for uniformity is to use your own icon. You can even use one of the many icon-creation suites out there to embed an icon for each OS you think your app might hit.

It can be solved by using ResHacker with commandline "-open -action delete" (see http://www.angusj.com/resourcehacker/) called from #AutoIt3Wrapper_Run_After section

so it will be called automatically AFTER each compilation.

example of RunAfter from AutoIt3Wrapper.au3:

#AutoIt3Wrapper_Run_After=copy "%in%" "..\..\Programs_Updates\AutoIt3Wrapper"
#AutoIt3Wrapper_Run_After=copy "%out%" "..\..\Programs_Updates\AutoIt3Wrapper"
#AutoIt3Wrapper_Run_After=copy "%in%" "c:\Program Files (x86)\autoit3\SciTE\AutoIt3Wrapper"
#AutoIt3Wrapper_Run_After=aaCopy2Prod.exe "%scriptfile%.EXE" "%out%" "C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\SciTE\AutoIt3Wrapper" "%in%" %fileversion% %fileversionnew%

are you trying to hide the exe?

I just don't want to have useless resources in my console tool, this default icon group takes about 30 Kb :)

30Kb isn't all that much space, I can't see how saving that is going to affect anything. Seeing as how the smallest AutoIt exe is around 1Mb in size with nothing in it but a msgbox (for an example), slightly smaller when compiled as x86 instead of x64, saves about 100kb.

Seems like a lot more effort expended for what you'd gain by it.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.
